  1. Hey Amanda,
    I love both of the poems, but my favorite one is Snow Falling. I love the images they create for me when I close my eyes and think about the snowboarding snowflake and the snowflakes that twist like a tornado. I want to join them in the sky as they dance the Cha-Cha.

  2. Oh my goodness – these are AMAZING!!! I can tell that the students worked really hard to think of what it is like to be rain and snow. Their use of all the great imagery words really help me to feel like I am precipitation! GREAT JOB GUYS!

  4. 2nd graders…I am SOOOOOOOO VERY proud of the creativity you guys used while you were creating these I poems. Many of you have the makings of great writers!

    Remember, ALWAYS think of more details, descriptive words, and more specific information. These are the things that make good writng GREAT!
